Orion Center
Creationist Science Center In Camdenton Near Lake of the Ozarks
This small scale science museum represents the creationist/ intelligent design point of view. Although small, they have interactive exhibits to rival the St. Louis Science Center. There are rooms devoted to space, physical science, biology, dinosaurs and artifacts from Egypt, Israel and Babylon. Hands on activities include fossils and paper rockets making. Outside you can dig for fossils, pan for gold, "hunt" for dinosaurs with water balloons, and go on a nature walk. They also have a playset in the shape of Noah's Ark for the little ones! Their website is www.orioncenter.org.
