In the past, many homeschoolers have played on local church teams. Rock Hill Baptist, Tower Grove Baptist, Twin Oaks Presbyterian, Rivers of Life and most Catholic Schools have graciously opened up their programs to homeschoolers.

The Patriot squads play Jr High, Junior Varsity, and Varsity teams from private, Christian, independent, and other homeschool programs in Illinois and the greater St. Louis area. Homeschool PE classes has been offered to homeschoolers since 1987. Classes are held on Wednesday mornings and Thursday afternoons. The program is divided into 2 semesters, fall & spring. Students may start mid-session. They also offer summer camps, facility rental, and after school basketball and volleyball leagues that many homeschoolers participate in.

In addition to basketball, Upward offers cheerleading, soccer and flag football. 30 local programs are offered through the metropolitan area.

YMCA’s offers a variety of sports programs, including team sports, such as softball, volleyball, soccer, and T-ball through their local facilities. They also offer swim classes, open swim time for homeschoolers during the early mornings and afternoons, kid’s fitness programs, gym time, dance and drama classes, and much more. Contact each facility for various offerings as they do vary.
