Stanford Achievement Testing

Offered through the West County Christian Home Educators Group usually in late May.

Offered through Living Word Christian School, 310 Cardinal Place, St. Peters, MO 63376, (636) 970-2398, Contact: Jan Stark. They open up their testing to homeschoolers in grades 1st thru 12th.

Additionally, your local public school will provide free testing services.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are unable to make the dates of the group testing events or if your children are uncomfortable with the group setting, you can test at home individually or in small groups. The tests results will be sent directly to you.

While there are some specific guidelines, the Iowa is very flexible and allows families to test at home privately. The Stanford Achievement Test does require that you have at least a four-year college degree (it does not have to be in education) and you must administer the test to at least two non-family members at the same time as your child. These tests can be purchased through Bob Jones University Press. For more specific details contact them at 800-739-8199 or http://www.bjup.com/.
