A broad and large variety of educational and outreach programs are provided to the community. They provide backstage tours, a Behind the Scenes Video Library
(a collection of professionally produced VHS tapes available at no charge for loan to educators for use in the classroom. The tapes offer expert perspectives on a variety of theatre topics including performance, design, playwriting and production.), community presentations, speakers programs, Cue the Audience (an eight-week course is designed to increase participants' knowledge of a theatre's artistic and production process and to enhance their enjoyment of live theatre), docent programs prior to or after student matinee attendance to increase student involvement in the theatre experience. Docents lead discussion and facilitate activities aimed at providing deeper insights into the play content and technical values, Family Night Performances subscription series enables families to bring children (ages 10-18) to the theatre at considerably reduced prices, study guides available for performances, student matinees and a touring outreach group, classes and workshops.

Additionally, many local universities such as Webster, Washington University, Missouri Baptist, St. Louis Community College all provide local reasonably priced performances. Check with the music department of the college. Also, many local communities, such as Clayton, Chesterfield, Town and Country, maintain their own local symphony and band groups that provide reasonably priced performances. Churches like the Basilica, Manchester United Methodist, Christ Church Cathedral, Harvester Christian, Ellisville Baptist, Concordia Seminary Church, Our Lady of the Snows, and the St. Louis Cathedral also have regular concerts. These could also be possible contacts for teachers.
