Romanesque style on the exterior with a wondrous Byzantine style interior containing the largest mosaic collection in the world, created by 20 different artists and covering 83,000 square feet comprised of over 41.5 million pieces. Mosaic Museum housed in the basement.

The oldest Episcopal congregation west of the Mississippi River, founded in 1819, and the seat of the Episcopal Diocese of Missouri. It is designed in 14th century English Gothic tradition and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and as a National Historic Landmark.

Midwest Messianic Center, an evangelical faith missionary organization, began in 1924 with the purpose of proclaiming Jesus as Messiah to anyone, but with emphasis to the Jewish people. They host Passover Seder demonstrations.

National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows

Largest outdoor shrine in North America, on the Shrine's 200-acre site are a church, a visitors' center, conference centers, motel, restaurant, chapel, an outdoor altar and amphitheatre, several gardens, a prayer walk, the Way of the Cross and a grotto. They also do a number of annual events including a Christmas program and drive thru light display.

Oldest Lutheran church west of the Mississippi River. It was founded in 1839 by Saxon Lutheran immigrants who had planned to settle in Perry County, Missouri. The church's school is the oldest continuously operating elementary school in St. Louis.
